Like any good super villain, Roy Moore is refusing to go down without a fight.

The failed Alabama Senate candidate is refusing to concede the election, despite his loss to Democrat Doug Jones on Tuesday, and issued a statement in a video that warns the “heart and soul of our country is at stake.”

“We are indeed in a struggle to preserve our republic, our civilization and our religion and to set free a suffering humanity,” Moore says in the clip. “Today, we no longer recognize the universal truth that God is the author of our life and liberty. Abortion, sodomy and materialism have taken the place of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

“We’ve redefined marriage and destroyed the basis of family, which is the building block of our country,” he said while reciting a list of reasons America should fear for its life. “We’ve even begun to recognize the right of a man to claim to be a woman and vice versa.”

Moore said his campaign, which posted the video on Wednesday night, is still waiting for the official vote count, adding that “we have not received the final count to include military and provisional ballots.”
