Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato weren’t made to fall in line.
The two powerhouse vocalists joined forces for a duet called “Fall In Line” for Aguilera’s forthcoming album Liberation out June 15.
The duet had been in the works for months. In February, Lovato told Billboard she “did a collaboration with one of [her] biggest idols. I can’t give away who it is yet, but you’ll find out soon.” In the recent May 5 issue of the publication, Aguilera confirmed the duet. “We went through a few names of women. I needed a belty singer, and she took it to the next level,” Aguilera said. “I almost cried when I first heard her on the record.”
The pair will perform the song live for the first time at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards on May 20.
