Employees at YouTube have been tweeting about an active shooter on the grounds of the company’s headquarters in San Bruno, California.

“Heard shots and saw people running while at my desk. Now barricaded inside a room with coworkers,” tweeted Vadim Lavrusik, a YouTube product manager.

LGBT activist and YouTuber Raymond Braun tweeted out that employees and local police confirmed that there was a shooter and to “please stay safe and let us know if and how we can help.”

Employees have been evacuated and police are currently investigating.

Google, which owns YouTube, said in a statement that they are “coordinating with authorities and will provide official information here from Google and YouTube as it becomes available.”
